Book Now Generally you will need to provide further evidence to the Department of Home Affairs 2 years after the date of your Subclass 820 Onshore Partner Visa application , or your Subclass 309 Offshore Partner Visa application.
Sometimes however, where a couple can demonstrate a long term relationship (i.e. more than 3 years), or there is a child of the relationship (and the relationship is at least two years in length), the DHA will automatically grant stage 2 permanent partner visas immediately after granting the first stage visa.
