Aussie Citizenship at last for Kiwis | Here’s how in a nutshell.

Did you know there is now a new pathway to Australia Citizenship via a new Permanent Residence visa for New Zealand citizens?

Here are the requirements in a nutshell:-

1. It commences on 1 July 2017.
2. You must have arrived in Australia after 26 February 2001 and on or before 19 February 2016 – if you weren’t in Australia on the day, you must demonstrate you’re normally resident.
3. You must have lived in Australia for at least five years before applying for the visa
4. You must have earned at least as much as as the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (currently $53,900), unless exempt.
5. You must pay the visa application fee (20% upfront and the rest before visa grant)

• • $3600 for the primary applicant
  • $1800 for secondary applicants over 18
  • $900 for each child under 18

AND Ta Da…..Citizenship after 1 year with all the bells and whistles!
