Victoria Subclass 190 State Nomination Update – Nurses Still Needed

08 Sep

The following Victorian state nomination levels have been allocated for 2021-22:

State and Territory nominated visa allocations – Victoria has been allocated 3,500 for the Subclass 190 State Nominated visa  program by the Department of Home Affairs (click here for a complete overview of the  DHA Program Planning levels)

Nurses still popular – But specialisation needed

In the 2020-21 program, Victoria selected over 1,000 nurses to apply for Victorian visa nomination.

In the 2021/2022 year, the Victorian government will continue to select nurses to apply for Victorian visa nomination.

Based on consultation with industry and the Department of Health, the focus will be on the specialisations below:

• Midwife – 254111
• Registered Nurse (Aged Care) – 254412
• Registered Nurse (Critical Care and Emergency) – 254415
• Registered Nurse (Mental Health) – 254422
• Registered Nurse (Perioperative) – 254423
• Registered Nurse (Paediatrics) – 254425

Victoria will also select nurses on advice from the Department of Health.

Please note: Nurses employed directly by a health provider (e.g. nursing home or hospital) will be prioritised over those working for an agency.

If you are considering if an immigration agent is worth the fee, my wife and I can honestly say this is the best money we have ever spent on a service.

It can be a very overwhelming process and having an experienced agent managing your application is worth every penny. We would highly recommend Xiaodan and her team at AHWC to anyone in need of an immigration agent.

You wont regret it.
